A Tourist Scavenger Hunt is a 2-3 hour self-guided walking tour with instructions through our mobile website on your smartphone. You’ll learn the history of the city or neighborhood, and the significance of various sites, monuments, and historical figures. Also, you’ll enjoy solving our various challenges at almost every stop along the way.
Our Tours
Washington Monuments: This tour of the west half of the National Mall takes you from the Ellipse, south of the White House, to the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, and ends at the Washington Monument. You will see many other monuments, museums, and learn much history.
Washington Museums: This tour of the east half of the National Mall takes you from the Federal Triangle (EPA & IRS) and takes you to most Smithsonian museums around the mall. You’ll also see the Capitol Building, the Botanical Gardens, and the Washington Monument.
Dupont & Logan Circles – Explorer: This 3-hour tour starts in Lafayette Square, north of the White House, and takes you through residential and ambassadorial areas of the city, looping around Dupont Circle, then Logan Circle, before ending 1 block east of your start location.
White House & Dupont Circle: This regular tour is the 1st half of the Dupont & Logan Circles Explorer tour. It starts in Lafayette Square, north of the White House. It takes you through residential and ambassadorial areas of the city, looping around Dupont Circle, then cuts a return path from Scott Circle down 17th St, ending at your start location.
White House & Logan Circle: This regular tour is the 2nd half of the Dupont & Logan Circles Explorer tour. It starts in Lafayette Square, takes you up 17th St to Scott Circle, then on to Logan Circle, and back again through residential areas with parks and different churches, ending at your start location.
Additional details
Further, they all end within a few blocks of their starting point. Indeed, you’ll never walk more than 5 minutes between 2 stops. However, this isn’t a race. Take as much, or as little time as you want.
