Are you looking for things to do in Philadelphia? You’ll find a few of our scavenger hunts and self-guided walking tours in Philadelphia.
Our first Tourist Scavenger Hunt here launched as an Explorer hunt in Philadelphia’s museum district in 2017. An alternate, regular (shorter) version followed in 2019.
A Tourist Scavenger Hunts is a 2-3 hour self-guided walking tour with instructions through our mobile website on your smartphone. You’ll learn the history of the city or neighborhood, and the significance of various sites, monuments, and historical figures. Also, you’ll enjoy solving our various challenges at almost every stop along the way.
Museum District – Explorer: This 4-hour explorer tour takes you from City Hall to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and to Eastern State Penitentiary before returning to City Hall. You’ll see many museums and historic buildings along the way.
Museum District – Regular: This 2.5-hour regular tour takes you from City Hall to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and back by way of the Schuylkill River. You’ll see many museums and historic buildings along the way.
Further, they all end within a few blocks of their starting point. Indeed, you’ll never walk more than 5 minutes between 2 stops. However, this isn’t a race. Take as much, or as little time as you want.
You’re sure to find plenty of things to do in Philadelphia. when doing one of our scavenger hunts.
