Are you looking for things to do in California? You’ll find several of our self-guided walking tours and scavenger hunts in California.
Our very first California Tourist Scavenger Hunt launched in Hollywood in 2017, Downtown L.A., and San Francisco quickly followed back in 2017.
A Tourist Scavenger Hunts is a 2 to 3-hour self-guided walking tour with instructions through our mobile website on your smartphone. You’ll learn the history of a city or neighborhood, and the significance of various sites, monuments, and names. Also, you’ll enjoy solving our various challenges at almost every stop along the way.
Hollywood: This tour takes you up and down Hollywood Boulevard from La Brea to Vine with many side trips. You’ll see many original cinemas, museums, and historical sites and learn much of the Silver Screen’s history.
Downtown Los Angeles: This tour takes you from Union Station to Grand Park, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and several museums. Walk down Angels Flight to Grand Central Market and the Bradbury building, and on to City Hall.
Fisherman’s Wharf – San Francisco: This tour takes you from Fisherman’s Wharf to Aquatic Park and up Russian Hill to see the twisty Lombard street. Discover several unique lookouts before reaching Washington Square and Coit Tower. End at Pier 39, near the start location.
Further, they all end within a few blocks of their starting point. Indeed, you’ll never walk more than 5 minutes between 2 stops. However, this isn’t a race. Take as much, or as little time as you want.
You’re sure to find plenty of things to do in California when doing one of our scavenger hunts.
